Clemson DE Da'Quan Bowers' Workout Getting Mixed Reviews

The early returns on Clemson defensive end Da'Quan Bowers' individual workout are mixed. Some are calling his workout today solid, while others are not convinced he's 100% healthy.

Bowers had surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus after his season ended at Clemson. Bowers did not workout at the NFL Scouting Combine or at Clemson's Pro Day because of that injury. Bowers insists his knee is 100%.

Bowers was considered a top 5 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft before the injury concerns.

Clemson defensive end Da’Quan Bowers is considered a top 5 pick on the April 2011 NFL draft, but that could change after news of a offseason knee surgery.

Tony Pauline of SI.com reported Bowers had a routine knee scope after Clemson's bowl game. The injury may keep Bowers from participating in all drills at the 2011 NFL Combine, which will be held February 23 – March 1.

Bowers led the nation in sacks in 2010.
