2011 NFL Draft: Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones needs foot surgery

After a lights out performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, it was revealed today that Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones will require surgery to repair a fracture in his foot.

According to NFL Network's Charley Casserly, the fracture was discovered during a Combine medical check, but Jones performed all drills in Indianapolis.

Jones should still be 100 percent before the season begins.

2011 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Julio Jones

Julio Jones, WR, Alabama (6'4" 220 lbs.)

Positives: He uses his size and speed to create mismatches against smaller defenders. May be the best route runner in the draft and not afraid to work the middle of the field. He's strong, physical and can shed tacklers. He's also a solid run blocker downfield.

Negatives: He has a tendency to drop too many easy passes. He sometimes disappears during games. Needs to do a better job of catching with his hands instead of his body.
